In the week ending December 4, 2022, photo editor app Lensa AI grossed almost 2.8 million U.S. dollars from users in the United States. Lensa uses AI to generate artistic renderings and avatars based on user-uploaded pictures and selfies. The service is subscription-based, but users have the possibility to purchase a set of 50 AI-edited images for around four U.S. dollars during their first trial week.
Editing mobile app Canva, which is particularly popular for allowing users to create collages and photo content, ranked second with more than 1.6 million U.S. dollars in revenues. Facetune, developed by the Jerusalem-based unicorn Lightricks and known for its popular Instagram selfie filters, ranked third with around 1.03 million U.S. dollars in revenues.
